You choose a topic and commit to pray for 90 days. From time to time, we'll send a little help along the way — a verse, a way to pray, some encouragement to keep you going. That's really all there is to it.
Grace covers it. This isn't a streak to protect or a test to pass. It's an opportunity for your relationship with Jesus to grow. Miss a day, pick it back up the next. God is after your heart, not perfection.
No. Prayer is the whole point — not a means to an end. You may pray with us for years and never give a dollar, and to us, that's a complete success because your deepening relationship with God and active involvement in carrying out the Great Commission are most important. We are trusting the Holy Spirit to call people to serve this ministry in whatever way He directs. We simply believe prayer changes everything, and we are excited to have you join us in praying for the mission of ExploreGod. Over time, if you'd like to go further with the ministry — praying more, volunteering as an Online Missionary, spreading the word about Lightkeepers, or supporting the mission financially — we'll happily share opportunities with you and welcome your expanded support. But that's always your invitation to accept, never a requirement for praying with us.
Not at all. Anyone can pray, and if you can pray, you can be a Lightkeeper. We'll share tips and ideas, but you’re empowered to make the prayer your own.
No — your prayer focus and your commitment to be a Lightkeeper are used only to support you in this program, and we never share them with anyone outside it. For everything else about how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
We recommend you start with one. Keeping one light well is better than half-tending three. When your 90 days are done, you can always take on another.
We are grateful for your 90-day commitment and the impact it will make. At the end of the 90 days, we would love for you to continue praying for this ministry if the Holy Spirit is leading you to do so, but you are not obligated. Toward the end of your initial commitment, we will be in touch with updated prayer request topics and/or additional prayer-related opportunities.
