Jesus makes a big statement in today’s verse: he claims that he is the way to God, he is the truth we need, and he is the life we want.

Jesus has overcome the world with its many hurts and problems, and because of this, he can offer us true and lasting peace.

When we choose to dwell on these types of positive thoughts, we gain the ability to push away habitual negative thoughts that can distract, discourage, and destroy. 

What is the fruit of the Spirit? In order to cultivate these "fruits" we need to allow God to produce them in us. 

Jesus brings the life we were created for. Will you stop chasing the life culture prescribes and accept the life Jesus offers?

What might change in your life if you pursued a deep understanding of God as a shepherd who cares for you?

Often our lives are cluttered with so many mistakes that the thought of coming clean can be overwhelming.

Serving others unselfishly, sharing our lives and our resources, helping others, sacrificing for those around us, encouraging each other—these are all ways we can show the love Jesus taught and lived.

Sometimes life feels like that puzzle. You keep trying to put all the pieces together only to end up with missing ones.

Christmas is about lights, but more especially about the Light of the world. Until Christmas came, most lived in the shadows. Let's see how Jesus changed that.
